Retail Sales Intern – Customer Service & Operations

About the role

Join Apparel Group as a Retail Sales Intern and support the store’s daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service. You will represent the brand, help maximise sales, and ensure the store maintains high visual and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs and guide them to the right products.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat purchases.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure stock is attractively displayed.
• Handle POS transactions, issue receipts, process refunds and manage cash till balances.
• Record inventory movements and keep accurate stock reports.
• Adhere to loss‑prevention policies and maintain store security at all times.
• Work flexible shifts, including extended hours during sales periods.
• Uphold confidentiality of sales figures and follow company SOPs.

Required profile

• Presentable, well‑groomed and professional appearance.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to suggest complementary items.
• Willingness to work varied hours and overtime as needed.
• Attention to detail and commitment to minimise stock loss.
• Ability to handle cash and follow accurate transaction procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of business information.
