Security Manager - Mall

About the role

The Security Manager will lead all security operations for a large shopping mall, ensuring a safe environment for visitors, employees and assets. This role combines strategic planning, staff supervision, technical system management and close cooperation with local authorities and emergency services.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and oversee all security operations across the mall.
• Develop, implement and monitor security policies, protocols and procedures.
• Manage and upgrade security technical systems such as CCTV, access control, alarm and patrol control systems.
• Prepare the annual security budget and monitor related expenses.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain liaison with police and national security agencies.
• Supervise external security providers and internal security staff.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly security reports for management.
• Develop risk‑management, crisis‑management and emergency‑response procedures.
• Oversee fire‑protection measures and conduct security evaluations.
• Support other operational departments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Property Management or a related security field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, including 2–4 years in a managerial security role, preferably in shopping malls.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, hazard identification and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
