Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our hospitality and restaurant operations in Seef, Bahrain. The successful candidate will oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, and support the finance team in delivering timely reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Record and review transactions using the Odoo ERP system.
• Perform regular bank, cash, and other account reconciliations.
• Handle month‑end closing and produce accurate financial statements.
• Monitor revenues, expenses, cash collections, and daily financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and supply required information.
• Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and facilitate timely resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to internal accounting controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
