Senior Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

Talent Arabia is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Specialist for a leading banking client in Manama. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining secure cloud environments across Azure, Office 365 and AWS, and ensuring the protection of critical financial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce cloud security architecture and policies for Azure, O365 and AWS platforms.
• Lead security testing initiatives, including static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) application scans.
• Integrate security controls into DevSecOps pipelines and promote least‑privilege IAM practices.
• Perform threat modelling using STRIDE, DREAD and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Monitor, assess and remediate vulnerabilities in line with OWASP Top 10 and SANS 25 standards.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cloud security.
• Current CISSP or CISM certification.
• Notice period of 0‑30 days.
• Proven experience securing Azure, O365 and AWS environments.

Required skills

• Azure, AWS, Office 365 security.
• SAST and DAST tools.
• DevSecOps integration.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) with least‑privilege design.
• OAuth2, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, MFA.
• Threat‑modelling methodologies (STRIDE, DREAD, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and SANS 25 vulnerabilities.
