Senior Leasing Officer

About the role

The Senior Leasing Officer is responsible for achieving occupancy and revenue targets across a commercial portfolio. This role involves sourcing, negotiating and closing leases while maintaining a tenant mix that enhances the long‑term positioning and value of the destination.

Key responsibilities

• Meet prospective clients at all levels, present available units, terms and conditions, and conduct tenant screening and background checks.
• Identify and secure the optimal tenant mix in line with zoning requirements.
• Negotiate rental rates according to the business plan and manage deposit collections.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted brand acquisition strategies.
• Track retail brands, conduct cold‑calling outreach, and maintain a database of regional, international and local retailers.
• Assist the Head of Leasing in planning and implementing the property leasing strategy.
• Gather competitive market information, perform cost‑benefit analyses, and monitor leasing trends.
• Prepare and supervise leasing offers, approval forms, lease agreements and related documentation.
• Initiate and finalize leasing transactions, including new leases, renewals, evictions and terminations, following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate master data and Oracle records, ensuring consistency across all systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial leasing and tenant acquisition.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex lease agreements.
• Excellent understanding of zoning regulations and tenant mix optimization.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams such as marketing, sales and finance.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining databases and documentation.
