Software Specialist – Enterprise Systems

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Software Specialist to design, develop, test and deploy new features for its Supply Chain Management (SCM) system. The role involves working with modern web technologies, cloud platforms and enterprise integrations to support digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy enhancements for the SCM system using React.js, Angular.NET 8/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide L1/L2 application support and coordinate with vendors for higher‑level support.
• Develop integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SharePoint, Power BI and other enterprise systems.
• Support SCM migration, digital transformation and modernization road‑maps.
• Create dashboards, KPIs and management reports.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, secure coding practices and system reliability.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Deliver user training and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 8–10 years of software development experience, preferably with enterprise applications, workflow systems, SQL migration, ERP or SCM.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and to lead technical initiatives.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core (including ASP.NET MVC/Web API).
• JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS (React.js, Angular).
• Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud services.
• REST API design and system integration.
• Version control with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Power BI for dashboard and reporting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration, SharePoint and enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts such as Azure OpenAI, Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
