Technical Records Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Records Engineer to join our aviation team at DHL Air Bahrain. The role ensures that all aircraft and engine technical records are accurately maintained, supporting continued airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update technical records for aircraft, engines and components in the ERP/MIS system.
• Liaise with the Quality Department to verify that all regulatory requirements are satisfied.
• Record maintenance actions, inspections and shop visits, ensuring digital logbooks are complete and available.
• Produce historical and service reports, including serviceable tags for part removal/installation.
• Publish daily fleet status, forecast upcoming inspections and track compliance with airworthiness directives, service bulletins and alert service bulletins.
• Archive completed technical records in an approved manner and assist with paperwork for certificates of registration and airworthiness renewals.
• Support the setup of new aircraft types in the MIS system in collaboration with Technical Services Engineers.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with regulatory documentation.
• Experience in aviation technical records or similar maintenance documentation is preferred.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with quality and technical teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP software and MIS systems.
• Knowledge of airworthiness documentation, including directives and service bulletins.
