About the role
The Fire Detection Sales Manager will lead the sales effort for fire detection systems targeting industrial, energy and related sectors. Based on-site in Turkey, NC, the role focuses on generating new business, managing the sales pipeline and delivering technical proposals that meet client safety requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the fire detection market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering and project teams.
- Conduct client visits, product presentations and demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
- Ensure solutions comply with relevant codes and standards such as NFPA and EN.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales or business development for fire detection, fire protection or safety systems, preferably in oil & gas, energy or industrial sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work on‑site in Turkey, NC and travel to client locations.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with a focus on meeting targets.
- Familiarity with Middle East or MENA market dynamics and experience with international clients.
Required skills
- Technical knowledge of fire detection technologies and system components.
- Understanding of NFPA, EN or equivalent fire safety codes.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
