General Maintenance Mechanic – Hotel Engineering

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is seeking a skilled General Maintenance Mechanic to join its Engineering team. The successful candidate will ensure all mechanical systems operate smoothly, supporting the hotel’s commitment to luxury and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and pump systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support seamless hotel operations.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a luxury hotel or high‑end environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and work flexible shifts.
• Technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering is an advantage.
