Hostess – Guest Services Supervisor

About the role

The Hostess will supervise and coordinate guest seating to ensure fast, courteous service in a high‑volume restaurant environment. This position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage seating flow efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assign guests to appropriate tables based on group size and escort them to their seats.
• Balance seating across service stations to maintain smooth flow.
• Record reservations accurately and address guest needs promptly.
• Present menus, wine lists, and special items, providing clear explanations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of snacks and beverages.
• Promote the Allure Club on non‑operational days.
• Report daily restaurant operations to management and flag any issues.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in a similar hostess or guest‑service role.
• Hospitality degree or equivalent education preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the primary workplace language.
• Ability to learn and perform essential job functions safely and accurately.
• Strong knowledge of menu and beverage offerings with the ability to suggest items confidently.
• Auditory and visual acuity to detect emergency situations.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.
