Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS Cloud

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to automate deployments, improve reliability, and optimise our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage secure, highly‑available AWS infrastructure.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor performance, availability and security, ensuring high uptime.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement logging, monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment processes.
• Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and cloud governance.
• Maintain documentation, support system upgrades, disaster‑recovery and capacity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience, including 3+ years with AWS.
• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFront, Auto Scaling).
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux administration.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Deep understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and cloud security.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
