Technical Services Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Engineer to ensure the continued airworthiness and reliability of a fleet of aircraft based in Bahrain. You will manage aircraft systems, maintenance programmes, and technical projects while maintaining strict compliance with aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve reliability of aircraft engines, APUs, landing gear, avionics, and other aircraft systems.
• Review and assess Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and manufacturer documentation.
• Coordinate repairs, overhauls, and modifications of engines, landing gear, and components with maintenance providers.
• Support the management and development of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP).
• Analyse technical data, defects, and reliability trends and recommend maintenance improvements.
• Liaise with OEMs, maintenance organisations, and aviation authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports and keep maintenance records accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and operational issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, or a related discipline.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Licence or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft engineering or technical services.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance programmes and aviation regulations.
• Experience with aviation maintenance software (e.g., FMIS, Envision) is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Experience with In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) and connectivity systems is highly desirable.
