Accountant – Full‑time in Manama

About the role

TradesApp is looking for a motivated Accountant to join its team in Manama, Bahrain. This full‑time role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance for a leading investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare supplier payments, verify supporting documentation, and assign control numbers.
• Receive customer cheques, issue receipts, and manage cash‑book vouchers.
• Enter invoices and payments into the accounting system and maintain the Fixed Assets Management System.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and petty‑cash voucher preparation.
• Assist with utility bill payments and coordinate audits for fixed assets.
• Support VAT return reconciliation and ensure proper recording in the books.
• Collaborate with internal auditors to verify payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
