Accounting Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This hands‑on position allows you to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world accounting tasks, gain exposure to daily financial operations, and build a solid foundation for a career in accounting or finance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Help reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Enter and verify financial data with high accuracy.
• Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
• Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Support the finance team on ad‑hoc projects as needed.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Eagerness to learn and a positive, collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite (a plus).
