Accounting & Tax Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting & Tax Associate to join our Accounting & Tax team in Bahrain Bay. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will work closely with senior accountants and auditors to maintain accurate financial records and meet reporting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/IAS.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and other financial data.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
