Adult Military & Family Life Counselor (Remote, Bahrain)

About the role

Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join its Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team supporting U.S. service members and families stationed in Bahrain. The role is remote until travel to the Middle East becomes possible and requires flexibility for overnight shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face counseling to service members, spouses and families (individual, couple and family sessions).
• Observe, participate in, and coach installation staff and military families during activities.
• Deliver presentations at military‑connect events and community gatherings.
• Assist families with transition challenges such as new schools or housing.
• Participate in regular in‑service training and report trends to team leads.
• Respond to emergent situations on installations and travel to varied indoor and outdoor locations as needed.

Required profile

• Current license as a behavioral health professional.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and travel to Bahrain when required.
• Ability to operate in rugged or outdoor environments and handle emergent situations.
• Strong communication skills for coaching, presentations and reporting.
