Adult Military & Family Life Counselor (Remote/Overseas)

About the role

Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join its Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team supporting service members and families in Bahrain. The position starts remotely and transitions to on‑site work once travel to the Middle East is possible. Candidates must be able to work overnight shifts and handle diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face counseling to individual service members, couples, and families.
• Observe, participate in, and coach during activities with military spouses and families.
• Deliver presentations at military‑connect events and installation gatherings.
• Assist families with transition challenges such as new schools or housing.
• Participate in regular training, in‑service sessions, and contract activities.
• Report trends and issues to team leads and support installation staff.
• Respond to emergent situations across various physical locations on the installation.

Required profile

• Current license as a behavioral health professional.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.
• Ability to travel to and work in rugged or outdoor environments.
• Comfort with remote work until deployment to Bahrain.
