AI Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level)

About the role

We are seeking a driven AI Engineer to join our growing tech team. You will design, build, and deploy machine‑learning models that address real‑world business challenges while collaborating closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, train, test, and deploy ML/DL models for production use.
• Partner with data engineers to clean, preprocess, and structure large datasets.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimise existing AI models to ensure performance and scalability.
• Integrate AI features into core applications and APIs alongside software developers.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest AI/ML research and propose innovative applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1‑3 years of hands‑on AI/ML development experience, or a strong portfolio for fresh graduates.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software‑engineering best practices.

Required skills

• Python programming (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit‑learn).
• Experience with at least one major ML framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras).
• SQL and handling of structured/unstructured data.
• Version control with Git.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud Vertex AI, Azure ML) and model‑tracking tools (Weights & Biases) is a plus.
