Architect – Manama

About the role

FA DESIGN is seeking a full‑time Architect to join its on‑site team in Manama. You will create architectural concepts, develop detailed drawings and models, and ensure high‑quality design delivery across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and translate them into construction documentation.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural, MEP, and other technical requirements.
• Conduct site visits and verify that designs comply with local codes, regulations, and standards.
• Support project planning, monitor design progress, and contribute to on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Required profile

• Strong architectural foundation with experience from concept design through construction documentation.
• Project coordination and management abilities, including timeline planning and teamwork with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with integrating architectural designs with structural and MEP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture; professional registration or progress toward registration is a plus.
• Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and ability to work on‑site in Manama.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D modeling tools.
• Experience with BIM workflows and digital design integration.
