Marine Engineer – Coastal & Marine Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Marine & Coastal Engineer with at least five years of experience in marine and coastal engineering design to support the delivery of projects such as coastal protection, marine structures and shoreline development.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed engineering assignments, calculations and design development for marine and coastal infrastructure.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, design notes, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors and clients to ensure compliance with standards and project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support continuous improvement of engineering methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Marine, or Coastal Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum five years of professional experience in marine and coastal engineering, preferably in the Middle East.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Design of rock‑armoured revetments.
• Design of concrete quay walls.
• Artificial beach creation and beach nourishment.
• Sheet‑pile structures and basic seawalls.
• Coastal protection and shoreline stabilization techniques.
