Assistant Director of Sales II

About the role

The Assistant Director of Sales II supports the property’s segmented sales efforts across groups, transient, corporate and other market segments. This role works closely with the sales leader to implement strategies that drive revenue, guest satisfaction and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales leader to develop and execute segment‑specific sales strategies.
• Lead aggressive solicitation programs and assist in creating sales plans that address revenue, customer acquisition and market positioning.
• Set and pursue personal booking goals while recommending targets for the sales team.
• Approve space releases for catering, participate in sales calls, generate proposals, draft contracts and manage customer correspondence.
• Analyze market data using sales systems, support revenue management projections and review guest satisfaction results to identify improvement areas.
• Demonstrate leadership in guest hospitality, gather feedback and ensure high service standards throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field plus 3 years sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year relevant experience.
• Proven ability to meet personal booking goals and contribute to team targets.
• Strong analytical mindset for interpreting sales and financial data.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
