Assistant Store Manager – Retail (Bahrain)

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in leading the Watsons store in Bahrain, ensuring high standards of customer service, sales performance, and operational excellence. This role combines people leadership with financial and inventory management to drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review sales performance, recommend action plans, and drive achievement of sales budgets.
• Conduct monthly category sales meetings, provide feedback on promotions, and ensure 100% execution of exclusive product programs.
• Manage store OPEX budgets, control utilities, staff costs, and other controllable expenses.
• Maintain shrinkage below tolerance through daily compliance with Retail Operating Standards.
• Oversee visual merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory adjustments, and cycle counts.
• Deliver consistent Brand of Service Standards, handling customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Promote loyalty programmes and drive conversion/transaction rates through effective selling techniques.

Required profile
