Associate, Crypto & Fiat Payment Operations

About the role

The Associate, Crypto & Fiat Payment Operations will manage daily cross‑border fiat remittances, crypto settlements and account reconciliations. You will work with SWIFT/ISO 20022 messages, on‑chain token transfers and ensure compliance with AML and Travel Rule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process end‑to‑end cross‑border fiat payments, handle inquiries, amendments and cancellations.
• Format and transmit SWIFT MT (MT199, MT192) and ISO 20022 (pacs.008, pacs.004, pacs.002) messages.
• Resolve payment exceptions and coordinate with correspondent banks to clear Nostro breaks.
• Execute daily OTC on‑ramp/off‑ramp transactions, converting between fiat and digital assets.
• Perform on‑chain token transfers across major blockchains and settle buy/sell trades with liquidity providers.
• Manage institutional wallet operations following strict approval matrices.
• Conduct double‑entry reconciliations across Nostro accounts, LP balances, exchange accounts and internal ledgers.
• Run Travel Rule screening (e.g., Notabene, GTR) and monitor crypto transfers for risk alerts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in bank payment processing, cross‑border remittances or fintech/crypto operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily cut‑off times.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 payment messaging.
• Hands‑on experience with crypto wallets and stablecoins.
• Familiarity with block explorers such as Etherscan or Solscan.
• Knowledge of Travel Rule screening tools (Notabene, GTR) and basic AML/KYC concepts.
