AutoCAD Drafter

About the role

Alyusuf Building Materials Co. is seeking a full‑time AutoCAD Drafter to join its on‑site team in Bahrain. The role focuses on producing accurate technical and shop drawings for a variety of building materials and systems, supporting project execution from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise architectural and shop drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting tools.
• Translate design concepts, specifications, and engineering data into clear, compliant drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and sales teams to update and revise drawings as projects evolve.
• Organise drawing documentation for easy access and reference.
• Review plans for potential issues and provide technical clarifications to site teams.
• Convert drawings into detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) where required.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in building materials, construction, or fit‑out projects in Bahrain or the region.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and ability to read construction documents.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary on‑site teams.
• Valid Bahraini driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Experience preparing shop drawings for ceilings, partitions, flooring, and other building materials.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and interpret architectural drawings.
