Barista / Senior Barista

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, skilled, and customer‑focused Barista or Senior Barista to join our café team. You will prepare high‑quality coffee and specialty drinks while delivering excellent service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso‑based beverages, teas, and other drinks to company standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely.
• Ensure consistency in coffee quality, taste, presentation, temperature, and portion control.
• Take orders, process payments, operate the POS system, and handle cash accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, food‑safety standards, and café presentation.
• Assist with stock monitoring, receiving, storage, rotation, and replenishment.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily café operations.
• For senior roles: train, coach, and supervise junior staff, manage workflow during busy periods, and report operational issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Barista, Senior Barista, or similar hospitality role.
• Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.
• Excellent customer‑service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced café.
• Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
