Electrician – Hotel & Conservation Projects

About the role

The Electrician role entails executing electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom and systems, installing apparatus, fixtures and safety components, and ensuring compatibility in circuits. Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and respond to emergency calls post‑midnight.

Key responsibilities

• Execute electrical wiring plans, install apparatus and fixtures, and ensure circuit compatibility.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Provide on‑call emergency electrical work after midnight, including repairs to fire alarm systems, generators, STPs and desalination plants.
• Maintain accurate records of parts used, log maintenance requests and report major operational issues.
• Keep the workshop and job sites clean, assist engineering crews with urgent manpower needs and attend duties punctually.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role within a five‑star hotel or comparable organization.
• Valid trade licence, certification or diploma in electrical work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Locally available candidates are preferred.
