Assistant Spa & Recreation Manager

About the role

Join the ultra‑luxury Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain as the Assistant Spa & Recreation Manager, overseeing the Spa, Fitness Center and all recreation facilities. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver Forbes 5‑star service and create memorable wellness experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Spa, Fitness Center and all recreation facilities, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Lead, motivate and manage the Spa and Recreation team, handling recruitment, training, scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget, monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Drive revenue through upselling treatments, retail products, fitness memberships and exclusive leisure packages.
• Develop and implement culturally inspired recreational programs and wellness activities to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and pool supervision protocols in line with local regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests and complaints promptly, coordinating with Raffles Butlers and other departments to ensure seamless guest journeys.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years progressive experience in Spa, Recreation or Leisure operations within a luxury hotel or resort.
• At least 2‑3 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
• Proven experience in a 5‑star luxury property is mandatory.
