Brand Manager – Decorative Coatings, Middle East

About the role

We are seeking a Brand Manager to lead the Hempel Paints brand strategy for the Decorative Coatings segment across the Middle East. You will translate customer insights into compelling campaigns and strengthen brand preference across digital, retail and professional channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead market research and consumer insight work to understand audiences, cultural trends, competitor positioning and evolving customer needs.
• Execute the brand strategy, ensuring a clear, consistent presence across markets and customer groups.
• Develop and deliver integrated marketing communication plans across digital, social, PR, traditional media, retail, trade, events and customer engagement channels.
• Partner with the Regional Trade Support Manager on promotions and in‑store activations to support conversion.
• Oversee content creation that reflects brand voice, values, product benefits and sustainability commitments.
• Manage relationships with creative, media, digital and PR agencies to deliver high‑quality work on time and within scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
• Approximately five or more years of experience in brand marketing, consumer marketing, communications, trade marketing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of brand building, advertising, customer behavior, market research and marketing analytics.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English; Arabic capability is highly valued.
