Business Development Manager (BDR/SDR)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager who will also act as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and Sales Development Representative (SDR). The role focuses on generating new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and creating a qualified sales pipeline to support long‑term commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets, identify potential clients and develop outreach strategies across email, phone, social media and events.
• Initiate conversations, understand prospect needs and position our products or services as solutions.
• Prospect, qualify leads, set appointments and manage the pipeline in a CRM system.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product and customer success teams to execute go‑to‑market plans and optimise lead conversion.
• Prepare proposals, support product presentations and coordinate follow‑up activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to uncover new business opportunities.
• Analyse pipeline performance and conversion metrics to recommend process improvements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with prospects and clients, nurturing relationships for account expansion, cross‑selling and strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to opportunity qualification.
• Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
