Cards Product Management Specialist

About the role

The client, a leading credit‑card issuer and payment acquirer in Bahrain, is looking for a Cards Product Management Specialist to drive the strategic development, commercialization and lifecycle management of card products. The role will oversee product launches, optimise portfolio performance and ensure regulatory compliance while enhancing customer engagement and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and rollout of innovative card products tailored to market needs, defining value propositions and pricing strategies.
• Support commercialization and launch of new solutions, providing sales tools, training and knowledge transfer in partnership with acquisitions.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations and compliance teams to ensure successful product launches and revenue alignment with consumer‑banking strategy.
• Manage product governance, audit, compliance matters and complaints support, ensuring seamless delivery of regulatory changes.
• Oversee integration with card processing systems, switches and vendors, providing technical support for card applications.
• Drive large‑scale program delivery from initiation to benefit realization, managing risks, budgets and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of proven experience in product development, portfolio management and cross‑functional collaboration within the card payments industry.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of card payments and processing systems.
• Understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements for card products.
• Experience with product lifecycle management and commercialisation.
