CAT A Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Category A Aircraft Engineer to join our “Insanely Customer‑Centric” team. The role involves maintaining, repairing, modifying and altering customer‑owned or company‑owned aircraft to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance in compliance with approved data and Category A scope.
• Prepare and certify all maintenance documentation, including tech logs, work orders and component change records in the TRAX system.
• Requisition, tag, and return parts, ensuring serviceability and proper paperwork.
• Communicate status and safety information to the Line Maintenance Manager and ensure safe practices among personnel.
• Operate and maintain ground support equipment (GSE), reporting any defects.
• Provide Outstation & Flying Spanner support and ad‑hoc AOG recovery, including aircraft recovery outside Bahrain.
• Analyse and troubleshoot aircraft systems and engines using manuals, familiarisation courses and hands‑on training.

Required profile

• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot aircraft systems and engines.
• Knowledge gained from aircraft familiarisation courses and maintenance manuals.
• Hands‑on practical training in aircraft maintenance.
• Commitment to safety procedures and clear communication with maintenance teams.
