CMS Processing Manager

About the role

The CMS Processing Manager ensures the availability, stability, and performance of payment processing platforms, including acquiring, switching, and transaction processing systems. This role leads operational support, incident management, and continuous improvement to meet business and regulatory demands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 24x7 L1 and L2 support for card systems.
• Monitor transaction flows, settlement, reconciliation and statements.
• Drive incident management, root‑cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Coordinate with Visa, Mastercard and external vendors.
• Track and report SLAs/KPIs such as availability, response time and throughput.
• Identify bottlenecks, optimise capacity and ensure high‑availability targets (99.9%+).
• Support release planning, regression validation and low‑risk deployments.
• Lead resolution of critical incidents (P1/P2) and ensure permanent fixes.
• Maintain PCI DSS, audit compliance and support BCP testing.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in payments, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Prior exposure to payment processors, team management and migration projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Required skills

• Card domain knowledge, CMS, settlement and switching.
• ISO8583 protocol, API integration, card issuance and tokenization.
• E‑commerce (ECOM) and value‑added services (VAS).
• Micro‑services architecture and cloud exposure.
• PCI DSS and audit compliance.
