CNC Glass Cutting Machine Operator

About the role

City Glasses is seeking a skilled CNC Glass Cutting Machine Operator to join its production team in Al-Hidd. You will operate and monitor CNC glass cutting equipment to produce precise glass components that meet technical drawings and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines, select appropriate cutting programs, and adjust parameters for accuracy.
• Inspect glass sheets for defects and ensure safe handling throughout the process.
• Perform basic routine maintenance and document any equipment issues.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet delivery schedules.
• Record production output and follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors to optimise workflows and minimise waste.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating CNC or automated cutting machines, preferably in glass processing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements and production instructions.
• Solid understanding of basic mechanical principles, machine setup and routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and quality control standards.
• Basic computer skills for CNC interfaces and production software.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle glass sheets safely.
