Conservation Specialist

About the role

The Conservation Specialist will support the preservation and sustainable management of natural resources and ecosystems. Working closely with environmental scientists, project managers and community outreach coordinators, you will help design and implement conservation initiatives that benefit both biodiversity and local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments and surveys to monitor ecosystem health.
• Develop, coordinate and implement conservation plans and projects.
• Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs and community groups to align objectives.
• Analyze monitoring data and prepare detailed reports on conservation outcomes.
• Educate the public and stakeholders about conservation issues and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in conservation, environmental management or related field.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Project management experience with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
