Construction Manager / Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager / Construction Project Manager leads the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet schedule, budget and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate construction activities, develop schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Supervise site operations, contractors, subcontractors and project teams, monitoring progress, costs and performance.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements, ensuring compliance with designs, quality and safety standards.
• Identify risks, delays and cost variations, implementing mitigation measures and handling disputes.
• Manage procurement, material deliveries and subcontractor performance, and oversee progress claims and variation orders.
• Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports and communicate status to senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction or project management, with strong knowledge of construction methods, budgeting and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to manage priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools and construction management software.
