Cook II – Gourmet Lounge

About the role

Join the Gourmet Lounge team as a Cook II, preparing high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced, award‑winning hospitality environment. You will work closely with the culinary team to ensure every plate meets the brand’s standards for taste, presentation, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness, and ensure correct temperatures for appliances and dishes.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen area.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
