Customer Due Diligence Senior Associate

About the role

As a Customer Due Diligence Senior Associate in the AML Operations team, you will ensure that onboarding and ongoing due‑diligence processes for corporate and retail clients meet regulatory standards and internal policies. You will work closely with compliance and business development teams to identify and mitigate financial‑crime risks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a time‑sensitive portfolio of ongoing and sanctions name‑screening cases, providing clear rationales for false‑positive alerts and minimizing unnecessary information requests.
• Conduct AML Customer Due Diligence reviews for individual and corporate clients, adhering to quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support periodic reviews for both individuals and entities as needed.
• Maintain high‑quality standards while navigating complex operational workflows and meeting strict SLA targets.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Business Development to resolve complex cases.
• Assist with system release testing and ongoing customer profile maintenance.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks that contribute to team goals and organisational success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AML/KYC operations, preferably with retail customer due diligence; corporate experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specialised operational workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability.

Required skills

• Experience with sanctions name‑screening and AML/KYC processes.
• Knowledge of digital‑asset operations (preferred).
