DevOps Engineer – Onsite (Bahrain)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our on‑site team in Bahrain. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing our Linux‑based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and automating deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, IIS, NGINX and MySQL.
• Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Chef and scripting languages.
• Conduct load testing, logging and monitoring activities.
• Maintain high availability through redundancy, standardisation and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Tune application performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Automate code deployment and routine maintenance tasks.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure, responding to incidents and outages.
• Collaborate with development teams to analyse and resolve issues.
• Contribute to application architecture reviews and design based on requirements.

Required profile

• Strong Linux administration background.
• Solid understanding of networking, performance monitoring, load balancing and caching.
• Deep knowledge of web applications and API design.
• Experience ensuring high availability and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Ability to work on‑site in Bahrain.
