Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead pre‑opening and launch financial operations for two luxury resorts in Bahrain, establishing robust controls, systems and reporting from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all pre‑opening financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, system setup and internal controls.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and SOPs aligned with brand standards and local regulations.
• Prepare pre‑opening budgets, opening balance sheets and track capital expenditures.
• Oversee accounting, finance, procurement, cost control and payroll for both properties.
• Provide timely financial reporting, variance analysis and strategic insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; ACCA, CMA or similar certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong business acumen, professionalism and ability to build and lead a finance team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
