Director / Partner – Risk Advisory (Bahrain)

About the role

We are a premier global consulting firm seeking a visionary Director/Partner to lead and expand our Risk Advisory practice in Bahrain. You will head a diverse team, drive innovation, and work directly with high‑profile regional clients on complex governance and risk challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Drive practice growth through market expansion, client targeting, sales pitches, proposal development and achieving financial KPIs (sales, utilization, recovery, collections).
• Lead complex engagements covering corporate governance, compliance, internal audit, financial risk management, forensics and enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks.
• Provide executive advisory by presenting insights and strategic reviews to client boards and senior leadership.
• Manage and mentor a team of 10‑15 professionals, overseeing performance, career progression and retention of senior staff.
• Develop new risk consulting service lines and internal training curricula to up‑skill the practice.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in a major professional services or commercial organization with a focus on risk consulting, including at least 8 years in a management role.
• Proven track record of business development, revenue generation and consistently meeting sales targets.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business plus a professional qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CPA or Master’s); CIA or CISA certifications are a strong advantage.
• Exceptional executive presence with fluent spoken and written English suitable for board‑level engagements.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of risk consulting frameworks (e.g., ERM, internal audit, compliance).
