Dry Cleaner – Hotel Laundry Department

About the role

The Downtown Rotana Hotel in Manama is seeking a motivated Dry Cleaner to join its high‑volume laundry team. You will ensure guest laundry is processed promptly and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Mark and sort items for dry cleaning accurately.
• Inspect garments for color fastness, fastenings and any pre‑existing damage.
• Refill chemicals, clean filters and perform routine machine servicing.
• Operate dry‑cleaning machines, loading and unloading with correct load amounts.
• Monitor machine performance, report defects and change padding as needed.
• Train fellow laundry staff on dry‑cleaning procedures.
• Follow fire and safety protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Vocational training in laundry operations or a related field.
• Previous experience as a dry cleaner in a high‑volume environment.
• Good command of English and a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
