Estimation & Tender Engineer – Mechanical/Electrical/Civil

About the role

We are seeking an Estimation / Tender Engineer with expertise in mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines to support our EPC and MEP projects across Bahrain and the GCC. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for heavy‑industrial contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to understand project scope.
• Perform quantity take‑offs from drawings and project documents.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial cost estimates.
• Obtain, evaluate and compare vendor and supplier quotations.
• Compile and submit complete tender documentation on time.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering and project teams throughout the tender process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation and tendering, preferably on heavy‑industrial projects.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality and client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to join within 30 days (earlier preferred).
• Willingness to work on site across Bahrain and other GCC locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Quantity take‑off and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Vendor sourcing and quotation evaluation.
• Technical documentation preparation.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
