Estimator – Interior Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for interior fit‑out enquiries, quotations and tenders. The role manages the full estimating process from scope clarification through supplier pricing, tender analysis, internal approval and handover to operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review enquiries, RFQs, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities to develop clear pricing plans and schedules.
• Conduct site visits and tender meetings to understand project conditions and delivery requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, subcontract works, logistics and installation, applying fit‑out methods and market rates.
• Identify value‑engineering options and alternative solutions to protect quality, programme and client intent.
• Issue supplier enquiries, analyse quotations, negotiate rates and commercial terms, and ensure alignment with tender requirements.
• Prepare tender analysis, pricing summaries and mark‑up recommendations for internal review and client submission.
• Coordinate handover packages for awarded projects, presenting assumptions, risks and supplier quotations to operational teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in the interior fit‑out industry.
• Proven knowledge of the full tender cycle, including quantity take‑off, cost build‑up and value engineering.
• Strong analytical, numerical and commercial judgement with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal business English and ability to communicate with internal and client stakeholders.
