Executive Chef – Central Kitchen

About the role

An established food & beverage group in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead its central kitchen. This hands‑on position focuses on high‑volume production, operational efficiency, and consistent food quality across multiple brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all culinary and production operations within the central kitchen.
• Oversee high‑volume food production, preparation, dispatch and quality control for multiple concepts.
• Establish and maintain recipes, portioning, production processes and food standards.
• Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all supplied products.
• Drive operational efficiency, waste reduction, yield management and optimal resource use.
• Train, develop and manage the central kitchen culinary and production teams.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and supply‑chain teams for smooth production and distribution.
• Support menu development, product testing and rollout of new items.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Executive Chef, Central Kitchen Chef or equivalent senior culinary leadership experience.
• Proven track record managing central, commissary or large‑scale food production facilities.
• Experience delivering high‑volume production across multiple F&B brands or concepts.
• Strong understanding of production planning, food costing, yield management and waste control.
• In‑depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Preferred experience within the GCC region.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
