Experienced Associate / Senior – Audit & Assurance (ARA)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate or Senior to join its Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice in Manama. You will work on complex accounting, reporting and operational issues, supporting both client engagements and internal project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client proposals and oversee day‑to‑day engagement activities.
• Conduct in‑depth research on complex accounting matters, including abnormal transactions, acquisitions and IFRS impact assessments.
• Review financial statements, accounting policies and internal controls, providing design, implementation, testing and remediation advice.
• Collaborate closely with engagement managers to develop and execute accounting strategies.
• Apply AI techniques and prompt engineering to improve audit efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in audit, assurance or accounting advisory, preferably at an associate or senior level.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with a client‑service orientation.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
