F&B Captain – In-Villa Dining

About the role

Join the luxury hospitality team at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain as an F&B Captain overseeing in‑villa dining. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver personalized, high‑quality service to guests in private villas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the In‑Villa Dining team during shifts.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods.
• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, personalized in‑room dining service.
• Set up, present, and serve meals according to departmental standards.
• Respond to guest enquiries and promote upselling opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of trolleys, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow food safety and HACCP standards at all times.
• Handle collection and breakdown of used dishes, trays, and trolleys efficiently.
• Report guest feedback, complaints, and irregularities to management.
• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods as needed.
• Safely operate and drive a buggy for timely delivery and collection of orders.
• Take full responsibility for Destination Dining setups and create "WOW Experiences".
• Train, coach, and mentor junior waitstaff.
• Coordinate daily tasks and ensure timely service delivery.

Required profile

• 2–3 years luxury in‑room dining experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or captain role.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Professional grooming and guest discretion.
