Head of Lean & Business Transformation Strategy

About the role

The Head of Lean & Business Transformation Strategy will lead APM Terminals Bahrain in embedding a lean culture and executing the Way of Working program. This senior leader will coach senior managers, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and steer the KBSP 2030 Growth Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and coach the organization in living the lean culture and Way of Working program.
• Coordinate implementation of Way of Working elements, the annual project plan and the KBSP 2030 Growth Strategy.
• Lead the Lean & Business Transformation Team, supporting leaders with improvement initiatives and policy development.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration, reporting on progress, risks and issues, and ensure compliance with APM Group policies.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years experience in management consulting or transformation roles, preferably in the Middle East.
• 3‑5 years experience in program management/continuous improvement, logistics or terminal operations.
• Proven track‑record leading and developing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and change‑management skills.

Required skills

• PowerPoint (storytelling) and Excel modelling.
• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Project Management certification.
