Heavy Driver

About the role

Nass is looking for a heavy driver in Askar to safely operate heavy vehicles and transport employees, equipment, materials and tools to project sites. The driver must comply with traffic regulations, company policies and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, flatbeds and boom trucks, and transport materials, equipment, tools and personnel to project locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine checks of fuel, oil, water, tires, lights and brakes.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects, accidents or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure materials and equipment are properly secured during transport.
• Follow assigned schedules and delivery routes, and assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption and vehicle inspections.
• Coordinate with Site Supervisors and Logistics personnel and follow HSE policies and site regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Bahraini heavy vehicle driving licence.
• At least 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably in construction, electrical or industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of Bahrain roads and traffic regulations.
• Clean driving record preferred.
