About the role

The Hyperbaric Doctor will lead the hyperbaric oxygen therapy service at our Amwaj Islands facility. This full‑time, on‑site position involves assessing patients, designing treatment plans, and ensuring safe, effective therapy delivery within a busy, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions, from patient selection to post‑treatment evaluation.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑treatment assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and strict safety protocols in the hyperbaric chamber.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and educate staff and patients on procedures and risks.
• Respond promptly to any medical concerns that arise during therapy.
• Support quality‑improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with local health regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Licensed medical doctor with recognized qualification in hyperbaric medicine, emergency medicine, or a related specialty.
• Formal training and proven experience in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, including patient selection, treatment planning, and risk management.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities for acute and chronic conditions in a hyperbaric setting.
• Knowledge of medical safety standards, infection‑control practices, and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with patients, multidisciplinary teams, and non‑medical staff.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, customer‑oriented environment and willing to engage in ongoing professional development.
