Information Security Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Information Security Analyst to join our remote cybersecurity team. You will help monitor, analyze, and improve the security of our systems, networks, applications, and data while supporting compliance and risk‑management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events to detect threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and suspicious activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and security reviews of systems and processes.
• Support vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and security testing.
• Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor compliance with information‑security requirements and best practices.
• Participate in security awareness and training initiatives.
• Support audit, governance, and regulatory‑compliance activities.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to improve security controls.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation related to security operations and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT risk, or related roles.
• Understanding of information‑security principles, threat landscapes, and risk‑management concepts.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, SSCP, GSEC, CEH) are a plus.
